Charmed life in the East
Published By: Tribune.net.ph | September 22, 2020
With the hurried life in Metro Manila even during the pandemic, it’s no surprise that more people are looking for home solutions that will let them enjoy a less stressful and a better quality of life.
The urban challenges everyone has to face every day has sparked among many home buyers interest in properties just outside the metro.
Major real estate developers are now rushing to develop properties in the east. Many hectares of land are being transformed into townships or mixed-use developments. With BPO companies moving closer to residential areas, more developments are moving toward this fast-rising real estate star.
One of the most popular sites now is Cainta, Rizal. It sits at the border of vibrant Pasig City. It is one of the most accessible municipalities, with major highways — Marcos Highway, Ortigas Avenue, C5 and other major roads — linking the area with the cities in the metro. With the opening of the Laguna Lake Highway (formerly C6), travel from Bicutan takes no more than 20 minutes.
The completion of the LRT-2 East Extension Project will be a welcome development. Expected to be inaugurated before the end of 2020, LRT-2 will be easily accessible to the residents and businesses in the area; this will further open up the east side to the rest of the metro. Other significant government infrastructure projects set to pave the way for more residential opportunities are the MRT-4 project, which is expected to be completed in 2025, and the Mega Manila Subway, the first phase of which is slated to be operational by 2022, and the succeeding phase in 2025.
With all these in place, Cainta is on its way to becoming a haven for people who want to stay away from the busy and congested streets of the metro, yet still be close to where the action is.
One of the most sought-after developments now is Charm Residences, SM Development Corporation’s first project in the east. The project is very close to major business districts — bustling Ortigas, happening Eastwood City and university-lined Katipunan. Major schools and universities, malls and commercial centers and top-tier businesses surround Charm Residences.
Investing in this property can be rewarding, whether the unit is rented out or used as a home for young professionals or a growing family. Charm Residences has experienced a compounded annual growth rate of 13 percent since its launching in 2017.
Set to be partially turned over in 2022, Charm Residences is ideal for those who are looking for an attainable and smart investment, in an area that is already showing a lot of real estate potential. For a reservation fee of only P15,000, one can avail himself of a flexible stretched payment term of up to 55 months.
Charm Residences is a residential condominium project that promotes modern living in a very relaxed, resort-like way. One can expect the conveniences of condominium dwelling —including professional property management — and at the same time enjoy the wide open spaces and well-appointed amenities for play and relaxation that are found in gated subdivisions.
Charm Residences’ seven 10-level mid-rise towers offer six landscaped swimming pools for all ages, pocket gardens, children’s play area, a covered basketball court, a wellness nook, and SMDC’s trademark hotel-like lobbies. It features two-bedroom units with layouts that suit the modern homeowner’s needs for practicality and functionality. The mall that will be constructed right within the complex will provide its residents and their guests with ultimate convenience.
As charming and as luxurious as it is, Charm Residences is also a safe community. It has 24/7 security, a central security system with CCTV cameras in strategic locations, high-speed elevators, and 100 percent back-up power in all common areas.
