Assistant Manager (Operations)

Metro Manila
  • Oversees the operations in assigned property
  • Manages and trains a staff of 6-8 persons
  • Strictly implements Front Office, Housekeeping and Accounting standards set by the Head Office
  • Ensures targets are met for revenue and unit owner sign-ups
  • Monitors expenses and ensures adherence to the budget
  • Establishes and implements strict controls in linen and toiletries inventory, payment acceptance and remittance, and OR issuance
  • Deals and resolves complaints of guests and unit concerns
  • Maintains good rapport with unit owners and guests
  • Reports directly to the Sr. Manager and reports to the Head Office when needed
  • College graduate of any business/hotel course
  • At least 5 years of work experience in a hotel, preferably with supervisory skills
  • Previous employment in a 5-star hotel is an advantage
  • Amenable to shifting schedules; may have to report on holidays and other declared non-working holidays
  • Strong analytical, leadership, planning and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills; proficient in both English and Filipino languages
  • Has an understanding of financial statements
  • Above average computer skills (MS Office) and knows how to engage in social media
