From its humble beginnings to becoming one of the country’s top real estate developers, every detail of the timeline reflects SMDC’s commitment to building The Good Life, a philosophy rooted in the vision of its founder, Henry Sy Sr.
“For 20 years, SMDC has stood for more than just building homes—we’ve built communities that empower people, inspire growth, and reflect the heart of Filipino values,” said Grace Sta. Ana, Executive Vice President of SMDC. “This timeline is a celebration of the people, the passion, and the purpose that drive us every day.”
The exhibit also honors the people behind SMDC’s success—its employees, partners, and communities. Jessica Sy, Vice President and Head of Design, Innovation & Strategy, shared her reflections on the company’s legacy: “SMDC was built on the idea of making urban living accessible to Filipinos. As we celebrate this milestone, we look forward to continuing this mission and shaping the future of real estate in the country.”
Beyond being a showcase of achievements, the exhibit is a space for employees and visitors to gather, reflect, and celebrate. It serves as a lasting tribute to SMDC’s enduring legacy and a reminder of its bright future, as the company continues to redefine urban living for the next generation.
